How does Materra guarantee that the timber won't warp under the harsh UAE climate?
Every single cubic meter of wood we import is strictly Kiln-Dried (KD) at the source down to an exact 8% to 10% moisture content baseline. Furthermore, our Beechwood is entirely steamed, which permanently neutralizes the internal cell tensions of the wood. This scientific treatment ensures the timber stays perfectly flat when introduced to dry indoor air-conditioning systems or high desert heat.
